I awoke, one morning, to find fog draping over city. So...I set out.
You can see the Canadian Geese enjoying themselves in near-obscurity. This is in the field in back of the Pavilion in Assiniboine Park.
Here, a bit past the geese, is a tree framing the obscured Lyric Theatre, also behind the Pavilion.
Well, this is pretty self-explanatory (a picnic table waiting to be picnicked)
I could have sworn I saw someone in this seat when I took the picture. Either way...
Well, here's another cool feature, not particular to this camera, but many digital cameras: the option to switch to black and white. 'Tis a beautiful thing.
Sometimes, I think people ruin a picture. Sometimes they complement it. In this case, I'm not sure which I prefer, so here's the same picture without people. You decide.
Along the path in Assiniboine Park, you'll find a lot of nice trees. These ones seem to be a bit out of joint.
This one, I thought, was über-cool. If you see the trunk as the body and the two branches further ahead as arms and the branches from there as hands, you might think to yourself: RUUUUUN! (kind of Disney-ish, I think)
There's more, if you like.
