There's not much to say, but, "That's him." After taking two years of television and radio broadcasting, I still didn't like to see myself on camera nor hear myself from a recording. Similarly, I'm adverse to writing about myself. What I will point out, however, are things I looooove to do. To wit:
- Cycling - love to cycle. Best thing they did with the wheel since uhh... the unicycle!
- Photography - Sure, I don't like my picture taken, but I don't mind taking one of every one and every thing else. In fact, I've taken some pictures of Edmonton, and Hole's Nursery; a place, residing in a most settling area of St. Albert, Alberta, that sells flowers of all sorts and is known nation-wide.
- Reading - Primarily non-fiction. Some fictions grab my interest, such as the mighty works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes (4 novels and 56 short stories) as well as Ayn Rand's commentary on humanity as described at great length in Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead. The non-fiction material ranges from the warped humour of Dave Barry, warped/intellectual humour of Bill Bryson, existential doctrines along the Buddhist line, science, nature and history, among others.
- Computers - I use computers mostly as a resource and partially as entertainment (don't tell me you've never delighted at the thought of overcoming evil, particularly when using your chain lightning spell or burn mana spell or even letting loose your squadrons of carriers to demolish the opposition's basecamp!)
- Food - Ya know, the fundaments of all cultures can pretty much be boiled down to food. You know this because:
- What brings people together?
- What forced people to co-operate before we had stores?
- What do we want to do when we're bored?(well, I want to eat, but that's just me)
- Why do so many meetings take place over lunch, or some such time of ingestion?
Well, in few words, that's about it. Of course we all have our nuances that make up the fabric of our character and who am I to reduce anyone to a few little issues? Well, I'm me and that's reason enough, I figure.
P.S. A horse walks into a bar to order a drink. Bartender says, "Hey, why the long face?"
