I was too sexy for this bar
Coming up into Quebec from Vermont, I had some engaging conversations with the locals, mostly consisting of "I don't understand." That's okay. After asking for some cream and sugar to a Quebecois fellow who obviously doesn't understand perfect French (I asked him, "Are you cream or sugar?"), I also came to learn that Tim Horton's in the east is like 7-Eleven stores out west, in that they are EVERYWHERE. They're almost like traffic lights in their prevalence, except they(Tim Horton's) taste better. Approaching New Brunswick, but still in Quebec, I came across this bar. This...sexy bar. I don't think I've seen a sexier bar. See the way the white, horizontal brick meets with the red, vertical sidings? Oooh, baby. You can see how those French are known for their outward display of affection. "Oh, mon cheri, how your front, dilapidating porch drives me wild."

I said weigh anchor!
At the entrance of New Brunswick, their visitor's centre has this cool pond and a ship of sorts, a salute to the long ships of the Vikings. This one didn't float so well.

The happiest man in New Brunswick!
A word of warning: If you ever go to St. John, New Brunswick to see the reversing falls, keep in mind that this sign out front may be more stimulating than the reversing falls. Firstly, they aren't so much falls as they are rocks in the way of water. Secondly, you have to be there at just the right time. Lastly, even if you are, it's a matter of water from one source becoming higher than the water coming from a different source, thus pushing the flow back. I was expecting some trippy view of a waterfall flowing backwards and all I got was Captain Happy.

spam spam spam spam spaaaaam!
This menu made the stop-off at the "reversing" falls worthwhile. Do you see a pattern, here? The first one is a bit hard to make out, but here's a hint: They're all the same! I was tempted to ask if they had spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, eggs and spam.

Not a real magnet.
Very close to Moncton, New Brunswick, is a place called Magnetic Hill. It's actually a tourist attraction, so there's a big park there to do all kinds of fun things. But the hill! The hill! (read on...).

Watch closely!
Okay, so I'm on the RIGHT hand side of the road, so this car looks like it's passing me in a FORWARD motion, right? Heh WRONG! It's going past me in a BACKWARD motion. I am sitting here parked and this fellow, with his car in NEUTRAL, is being pulled back up this hill we just finished driving down.
