This is great. In the Calgary Zoo there is an area called Prehistoric Park, where they have positioned dinosaurs as they may have lived in surroundings that resemble the way it was all those millions of years ago. So here we have two water creatures heavily duking it out, but what I thought most interesting was the casual manner in which the seagull was taking all this commotion.
In Lake Miniwanka, you can converse with rams, go sailing/boating (see those eensy dots in
the water?) or just stand at the edge of the lake and enjoy views such as this.
This is where the aforementioned ram-watching takes place. There were three of these guys
patrolling the roads, performing vehicle inspections and basically controlling the speed of
traffic. Maybe all speed enforcement units should use these gents.
The aforementioned patrol squad. They just saunter in and out of the lanes without concern
of the moving two-ton boxes approaching them. When I tried that, some men in uniform came
to escort me back to my car. Talk about discrimination.
This was taken as a part of a group of about 20-30 sheep and more ram. I tried to get them to
pose in the same spot, but they just looked at me funny. Ingrates.
