Taken from the ferry back to the mainland, this phantom of an image lasted quite a while.
It was an awesome sight. Oh, you know those ferries that cost BC $150 million (or was that
$150 million over budget?); they were just as slow as their predecessors! Suckers.
These are some feet I met on the ferry. I've seen painted toes before, but the contrast and
pattern really stuck out. I'm sure some guy taking a picture of feet kind of stuck out, too,
but whatdyagonnado?
Driving down the Coquihalla Highway one afternoon, I saw a lot of mist. I had no idea
the picture would come out looking this dramatic (not that I am displeased!)
This was taken near Golden, BC, appropriately enough. After several twists and turns, this
casualty -- due to its slight lack of focus -- of driving was finally taken. Please don't
try this sort of thing at home.
I love these signs. (yes...taken while driving...quickly). They mean a fairly steep decline is approaching. Not a sudden decline, but
a lengthy decline at a bit of an angle. In this case, it's an 8% grade. An 8% grade will let
me put my car into neutral and coast at ONE HUNDRED FORTY KM! A 6% grade will let me coast
at 120. There were times I did not touch the gas for 10 minutes. This is how car driving should
always be. Also, I hear putting one's car into neutral is illegal. So maybe I'm making this up.
You can't touch me.
