Blakey! She makes this shot look easy.
She has much to teach us, especially her power-returns (like the ones that come right
at your head!)
Gladly, there was no one swaying away from bees on this grassy knoll.(inside joke)
Bill, seen here on the right, is sitting still. Remember this, because you won't be seeing
it happen too often!
Fresh haircuts! You can barely tell who liked theirs better. My wager is on Kille, seen here on
the right. (well, I mean really... look at that grin!)
A nice stroll, via bike, across the remote regions of Calgary. We almost decided to cycle
down a hill with an 87% angle. Sadly, I was out-voted.
As you can tell by the grimace on this lad's face, you know he's gotta be running over something
(probably a curb, eh, Adam? :)
For the most part, that's about it. I lost a film that covered the first few days, including coming across a buck and a doe in Cypress Hills. Coming back was rather fun. A note to Saskatchewan: Please add more gas stations along your highways that are open past 6 pm. It's nice that you have those towns of 50 people who don't need gas at night, but I'm sure a lot of travellers have differing opinions.
Also, Manitoba has AMAZING scenery when you drive the Yellowhead route. It's like a whole new province. When I was passing through it, however, I was in a fairly focussed state of mind (ie. I need civilisation!), hence, no pictures. See it yourself. You'll like it.
Lastly, let it be said that while the rolling hills and rolling mountains of the western provinces are gorgeous, as is the blue water, the return to land where the sky can be seen from horizon to horizon can't be beat.
