This just looked cool. Yes...as was the case with most of the pictures, it was taken while driving.
Perhaps you've seen one of these. If not, you have now! :D This was in Jasper National Park. It's SO picturesque, you could tour up and down highway 5 in BC and down from Jasper to Banff (highway 3?) for years and not get bored.
I STOPPED THE CAR to take this picture. Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. :) Still on the way from Jasper to Banff.
This is simply amazing. The water is blue and perfectly still and it was perfectly quiet...well...it would have been if not for the hundreds of tourists, like me. :)
I came back to my friend's (now referred to as: my friends' :) in southern Alberta on the way back. Long story short: This puppy (Keelay (I know I spelled it incorrectly!) swam with the family in the river (you saw it earlier in front of the lodge), but was pulled under by the current at least twice, freaking out everyone (I think the dog more than anyone else) and made it out alive...nay, triumphant!
Say hello to my leetle friends: both my feet. It's true what they say about ocean water. It makes you float so easily! Waitasec... this is nowhere near the ocean. Nevermind.
